The Story of Calypso
There was still a ball of yarn to use up, the desire for a quick, spontaneous project, without too much thinking.
Yarn & Crochet already offered a keychain version, so the idea came naturally: and What if she became a plush toy?
The crocheting progresses, the tentacles take shape, and then, a small surprise, the ball of yarn wasn't enough after all. It was impossible to continue with the same color since there wasn't any more in stock.
Rather than seeing it as an obstacle, Improvisation took over.
A second ball of yarn, in a different shade, appeared. The tentacles began to alternate colors and suddenly, the octopus had even more personality.
To harmonize everything, a little star It came to rest delicately on her head. A simple detail, but one that changes everything.
And there you have it: a two-tone octopus, born from an unexpected event, which has become a unique, gentle and charming creation.
