The octopus pattern
Before you begin, here's everything you'll need to make this model:
Materials used
• «Super Bulky» yarn of your choice
• Black yarn for the details
• 6.0 mm hook
• 16mm safety eyes
• Padding
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Stitch marker
Final size: The plush toy measures approximately 21 cm high when held and approximately 10 cm when placed down.
Abbreviations used
MC – Magic circle
ch - chain
sc - Single crochet
slst – Slip stitch
dc – Double crochet
inc – Increase
Dec – Invisible decrease
Normal-dim – Normal decrease
FLO – Crochet in the front loop only of the stitch
BLO – Crochet in the back loop only of the stitch
(…) x N – repeat these instructions N times
*…* – repeat these instructions in the same stitch
[…] – number of stitches obtained at the end of the row

The head
With the "purple" wool«
This pattern is worked in a continuous circle.
Insert the eyes between rows 12 and 13, 8 stitches apart.
Embroider the mouth between rows 13 and 14.
Stuff the head.
Finish with a slst then close the circle.
The tentacles
Start with the "purple" yarn, then switch to "white" yarn for every other tentacle.
Starting from row 21, insert the hook into the front loop:
Continue with the 7 other tentacles, alternating the colors:
Finish with a sl st in the front loop of the first stitch and cut the yarn.
The star
With "white" yarn
Cut the thread, leaving a good length for sewing.
Sew the star onto the side of the head.
