Abbreviations

ch – Chain
sc – Single Crochet
sl st – Slip Stitch
dc – Double Crochet
( ) – Repeat the instructions within these parentheses
the number of times indicated
[ ] – Total number of stitches at the end of the round

Crochet Pattern Scrunchie “Coral” 

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds around the hair tie.
Round 1 : sc around the elastic, slst in the first sc [38*]
Round 2 : 2ch, (2dc) in each sc from round 1, 1dc in the first sc, slst in the ch [76]
Round 3 : (3ch, sc) in each dc from round 2, finish with 3ch and 1sc in the first sc [304]

Cut the yarn and hide the excess.

Congratulations, you have completed your Coral Scrunchie !

*The number of final stitches depends on the elasticity of your elastic and the desired result. The tighter the stitches are in the first round, the more voluminous the scrunchie will look. The fewer the stitches, the flatter the scrunchie.
