Materials

• Yarn in the color of your choice (here, I use 100% coton 8/4 yarn from the collection « Rainbow » from Hobbii colour 85)
• Black yarn for the eyes (I use the yarn « The Basic » from Katia colour 02 )
• Crochet hook : 2.5mm
• Stuffing
• Needle
• Scissors
• Stitch marker
• Metal hook for key ring

Abbreviations

MC – Magic Circle
ch – Chain
sc – Single Crochet
sl st – Slip stitch
inc – Increase
3sc inc – Make 3sc in the same stitch
dec – Decrease (invisible decreases are recommended for a better result)
FLO – Front loop only
BLO – Back loop only
( ) – Repeat the instructions within these parentheses the number of times indicated
[ ] – Total number of stitches at the end of the round

Crochet Pattern Octopus Keychain

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds.






Start stuffing the head then complete as you go along.


F/o with a slst, cut the yarn and hide it.

From Round 10 : insert the hook in the first stitch, FLO


Repeat Tentacles 2 and 3 in sequence up to Tentacle 7


Cut the yarn and hide it.

Using black yarn, embroider the eyes between turns 5 and 6, 3 stitches apart.
Add the metal hook at the top of the head.
Congratulations, you have completed your octopus !
